Six Bucket List Places to Elope

2019 is coming up shortly, so I have been thinking about goals that I want to accomplish for the new year. I thought to myself about where I would love to go in 2019 and here are my answers!

Number one

ISLE OF SKYE, SCOTLAND

I want to go to Isle of Skye because I want to visit Dunvegan Castle, Eilean Donan and Neist Point Lighthouse. It is my ultimate dream to take photos of a couple at a lighthouse and Neist Point Lighthouse would be an amazing place to do it!

Number Two

Cliff of Moher, Ireland

I want to visit the Cliffs of Moher because they are one of Ireland’s most famous sights. To photograph an elopement here would be a dream because you would have sheer rock and the ocean behind you which would make the background beautiful.  

Number Three

Iceland

I want to travel to Iceland because I want to go to the Blue Lagoon, Natural Hot Springs, and to watch the Northern Lights. There are hundreds of boiling Hot Springs that would be an amazing for a couple’s session because you could get all hot and steamy with your lover and I could photograph your amazing memories together. A great place for an elopement would be Hallgsimskirkja because it sits atop the Reykjavik's highest point and can be seen poking its pointed crown. Iceland has so many amazing places to elope and I would love to be considered for you special day!

Number Four

Faroe Islands

I want to visit the Faroe Islands because I want to photograph the Saint Ólav’s Church. This church is the Faroe Islands oldest church and it is still in use and would be an amazing place to have elopement. I want to photograph the Kunoy Village and Vidarlundin because it is the home to some of the highest mountains in the Faroe Islands.

Number Five

New Zealand

I want to travel to New Zealand because I want to photograph Lake Tekapo and Waiheke Island. Lake Tekapo would be a perfect place for an elopement because it has a magnificent mountain scenery. Waiheke Island would be a good location for an elopement because of the beautiful white beaches.  

Number Six

Santorini, Greece

I want to photograph Santorini, Greece because I want to walk along the volcano of Nea Kameni and visit Skaros. Skaros is the mediaeval capital Santorini, Greece and would be an amazing place for an elopement because you would have the entire panorama of the caldera in the background of your photos.
