Bass Lake Elopement| Boone Elopement

This mountain elopement was to die for emotionally! Lauren and Robert were so adventurous throughout their day but you could tell they did it with love. The passion they have for each other really showed throughout this elopement. I had a great time capturing their memories of their special day!

Lauren said “We met in college. We were always friends, but I had a boyfriend for the first two years I knew him. We were in the same major (product design), so we spent many hours together. When my boyfriend and I split up, we became even closer. It wasn’t long until we were dating. We dated for a year and half before he proposed. We are both big fans of history and we have always wanted to visit Rome. We finally got our opportunity the last semester of our senior year. Our class took a trip to Rome, and so I had no reason to suspect anything special would happen. He proposed after taking me to see the colosseum and sunset. Right as we passed under a large arch, he grabbed my hand and bent down on one knee. It was the most romantic thing ever.”
