Frean and Emily both took a summer job at Grandfather Golf and Country Club. Then, a fellow employee of theirs held a 'beginning of the season' party at her house. Frean caught her eye as soon as he walked in the door and Emily caught his eye with her Highlife beer graphic tee. It was so amazing being able to capture these special memories in their Boone Engagement Session!

Brenda and Cristian had their engagement session at Cherokee Bluff Park in Flowery Branch, Georgia.

This Boone engagement session was one of my favorite sessions that I have done. This couple was okay with whatever I suggested during the session and did not make it awkward at all.

Amy and Parker were amazing to photograph at Max Patch! They also brought their little boy Dev and their dog Chance to the adventure session!

Jessie and Wyatt drove all the way from Washington, DC for their engagement session in Durham, NC. Yes a five hour drive for a session but it was definitely worth it! It was definitely a session to remember because we found an old abandoned house. We took photos with the house just like it was their home. I can’t wait for these two to get married!!

Ashley and Alex’s engagement session was one of my favorite sessions that I have done so far. We went to different places all over downtown Asheville. We went to the place they had their first date and some of their special places to hangout in Asheville. We also ate tacos at their favorite taco place in downtown!

I did an engagement session with Brenna and Doug back in May and they brought their sweet little girl Kinsley. I have been wanting to photograph Toccoa Falls for over two years now and I am so glad I had the opportunity to photograph these three there. Kinsley loved the water and the dirt so you definitely can tell she loves nature as much as her parents do!!

Colin and I met while hanging out at the river last summer in Boone. We started talking and instantly realized there was a connection. We made plans to hang out the very next day and have been inseparable ever since! Our relationship is full of more love, trust, kindness, appreciation, and affection than I ever could have imagined! What we have just seems to come so naturally and I am thankful for it every single day!”

Throughout this whole session, Jacob and Emylin were perfect. Jacob trusted me during the whole engagement process and it makes me so happy because this couple was amazing.  Jacob asked me where a good place for his proposal would be and I mentioned a waterfall in Banner Elk and so he said that would be an amazing place so we ended up having their proposal at the Crab Orchard Waterfall.
