This Chapel Hill DIY Wedding happened back last October. The wedding took place at the Bride’s parent’s house in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The ceremony was outside in a field behind the house which is near an old dairy farm and the reception was under a huge shed that had wood, old farm tools, and other rustic elements hanging around. All the decorations for the wedding were DIY projects that Whitney and her mom created.

Back in October I second shot a wedding for Jordan G Photography at Warehouse 18 in Hickory, North Carolina. Becca and Kyle’s favorite holiday is Halloween so they decided they wanted to their wedding to be a Halloween theme. They had all types of Halloween decorations and an amazing spider cake. Even when it is snowing outside, a farm wedding with goats will always be amazing. JD and Sabrina were such an amazing couple.

Carlos and Amber were the perfect match for this intimate Wizard of Oz wedding. Throughout the day they were signing songs from the Wizard of Oz movie and it made the whole day amazing because they could relate to the theme. While taking photos of them,  I could definitely tell they have a bond between each other and that they truly love each other. I am so glad I was able to capture these lovely human beings in their element of love at the Leslie Alford Mims House.
